The imperative need to shorten the time gap between scientific validation and clinical application demands the modernization of dissemination systems. In this context, starting in 2026, Applied Sciences in Dentistry officially adopts the continuous publication format. This structural transition is underpinned by a strict reinforcement of methodological rigor and editorial ethics, establishing policies aimed at eradicating academic inbreeding and promoting geographic diversity in authorship. Concurrently, the contemporary advancement of stomatology and health sciences requires a profound integration of the Ibero-American community, making interinstitutional collaboration and multicenter research the fundamental pillars for the construction of evidence-based knowledge.
