Abstract

Introduction. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted e-health as a strategy to improve access to health care for the population. Objective. Describe the state of humanization of care in the context of e-Health. Methodology. Systematized review, defined by Codina as a qualitative literature review. Follow the search, evaluation, analysis and synthesis phases. The Wos®, Scopus® and Pubmed® databases were used. The strategy considered the keywords; e-health or
telenursing and humanization of assistance and nursing care in Spanish and English. The inclusion criteria considered articles of no more than five years, open access and nursing category. Results. 20 articles were selected; 20% from Latin America, 15% from the United States and 65% from European countries. The findings are encouraging, given that the interventions carried out by nurses through e-health have been reported in different parts of the world as beneficial for people. Conclusion. The review shows that e-health nursing care allows establishing a good helping relationship, which generates in people feelings of trust, good communication and a feeling of safe environments. The main limitation
is identified as the literacy gaps in digital media.
